Yeah, and give them lifetime benefits. Holding them in our hearts doesn't give them health care or food. Neither does standing ovations at a ball game.
Or putting a flag pole in at your house with the US flag on it, keeping it out in the sun, rain, night with no light, and other disrespect for the flag like letting it get tattered and faded.
