I applied through other source. I interviewed at Abbott (Saint Paul, MN) in Oct 2021
Interview
Panel interview with multiple engineers. Questions are usually just about what you know to see if you are a good fit. Not a lot of gotchya questions, so it was pretty straight forward. The onboarding process at this company is non existent, unfortunately, which is part of the reason why I left.

Question 1
Are you familiar with human subjects research studies.
Simple and easy. Staff were all kind and professional with a mix of behavior questions and also specific job function questions. Overall it was a great experience and it was a pleasure speaking with the hiring team.

Question 1
What do you know about Abbott and its different businesses
It was alright, the questions weren't too challenging and the interviewer was pretty nice. The location is very bad though at Tuas. Very inaccessible to travel on your own. They provide company shuttle bus from where I live so it's ok.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Abbott (Clonmel) in Sep 2024
Interview
Formal. Competency based interview. Followed STAR interview model. Typical questions included talking about leadership, problem solving, teamwork and communication. They wanted you to relate to prior skills and projects. Also asked why you want to work at company and 5 year plan.
