I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Abu Dhabi Education Council (New York, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
The process is a long. Started in the summer time, and finally had an in person interview in November. There were a bunch of people from different recruiting agencies interviewing. So it was a full day, for those people who were not luck enough to be first. They did drop a bomb, that the contract length was extended to 3 years. hmmm

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Abu Dhabi Education Council (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
Interview took place at a hotel with a representative from ADEC. It began with them asking teacher-related questions about how to handle situations and what would be a typical lesson you would do for this population of student. Then, they gave some information about the country, job placement and position you would be hired for. After, they answered any questions about living and working overseas, benefits packages, housing options, schools fees for kids, etc. After, they gave you an option to sign a contract.
