Applied Materials Senior Software Engineer interview questions

A brief overview of the organisation followed by my introduction and work. Then we went with the online platform for coding glider. The questions asked are below: Internal implementation of Hash Map Upside Down pyramid sum for a 2-D array which is made input using 1-D array and of N*M matrix.

I was contacted by an HR from amat, after some days the interview was scheduled. The interviewer joined 5 min late, no apology for that. He introduced himself saying he is a manager at amat with 15 years of experience and has worked with Microsoft before. He then asked me to rate myself in c#, wpf, winforms, multi threading and data structures. Then gave me 2 easy dsa problems solved both of them. Then he asked a question about multithreading, I didn't know that , one question on wpf. I have no experience in desktop development I, told him already. Then he asked about my compensation and the offer in hand. He said he won't be able to match it since I am very weak in dsa(which I doubt since I solved both the problems he gave with otimized solutions) and multithreading and wpf(I have exp in web development) . After an hour I got a call from HR for scheduling second round. I asked her to drop my profile as I didn't like the managers attitude, I got a very negative vibe from him, he was very arrogant
