I applied online. I interviewed at Astreya in Feb 2026
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me fairly quickly after applying for initial screening. However, once the screening started, it could not have been more apparent that the recruiter had no sense of what the position entailed nor possessed even a basic awareness of requirements. She couldn't even tell me if the position was remote or on-site. It was such that I questioned how legitimate the company was, but later confirmed that she was an authentic employee. She later followed up with me after business hours on a Thursday to see if I was available for an interview at 9am the next day (Friday). I went for the next requested availability on Monday. The next interview was with a hiring manager, and it went fairly smoothly. The manager was friendly, spoke with detail about the position, answered my questions fuly, and asked appropriate questions. He took great pains to offer transparency regarding their hiring timeline and that they were looking to select rather quickly. He said I performed really well. In fact, he went as far as to say I qualify for more senior positions. I was then told to expect next steps within the next 3-4 days. I have not heard from them since, and that was two weeks ago.
