1 hour long technical interview right after applying to the position so there was no HR interview. The interviewer came couple of minutes late to the meeting and lacked common courtesy. I felt like I was wasting his time and I was only interviewed to get rejected. I got interrupted couple of times while speaking and commanded to tell about something else. After 15 minutes of introduction of the company, myself etc. the technical part started. Interviewer asked about extremely basic concepts about Python, which I found it odd since one of the requirements for the position is to have a Master's Degree. I failed to answer some, and after he corrected me and I acknowledged the correct information, he always followed up with "but you just said it was not" by pointing out my wrong answer. Later, he shared his screen and asked the print of bunch of small tricky Python code snippets. Same behaviour happened for this part here as well, he never affirmed a correct answer from me and always stressed the wrong parts. One of the questions was "will the brackets be printed for a list?", I cannot think of a correlation between this information and the actual responsibilities of the position. Only in the last 5 minutes, he glanced to my CV, asked the first question related with ML&DS, which is a class imbalance scenario. After I correctly and througly answered, he said "everyone would know that" and asked something further on the same topic, I answered that correctly as well. Final question was related with CNNs, he tried to come up with a question in the moment which lacked context and displayed lack of preparation. When I asked about more context to be able to answer the question, he seemed frustrated and didn't try to elaborate more. I half-answered his question then the interview was over.
Easily the worst technical interview that I ever had, whole technical part could be done over an online short questionnaire. I was prepared to talk about more advanced topics and ML&DS problems, not to answer some tricky syntax questions like one would do when they are looking for their first internship while they are in 2nd year of their Bachelor's etc.
