I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CHECK24 (Munich, Bavaria)
Interview
The first stage was a phone interview. It was focused on behavioral aspects. Conflicts, strength, weaknesses. I was invited to interview via email, with no details provided about the process. After the initial interview, the stages included a case study, brain teasers, and a technical assessment.
The case study focused on product ranking. It was challenging to grasp the scope and boundaries of the product they wanted to develop. My answers seemed off-mark, as the interviewers appeared fixated on a specific vision they didn’t clearly communicate.
The brain teasers included a seesaw riddle and a volume sales puzzle.
The technical interview was the most difficult. I met with their “lead,” who struggled to articulate questions clearly. At times, it felt like I had to read his mind. He responded with irritation when I sought clarification and came across as condescending, with notably poor communication skills. I eventually managed to answer all the questions.
This was my personal experience. Others may have a different one—though, in theory, they shouldn’t.
