Das Gespräch begann in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit Smalltalk. Es folgten die Unternehmensvorstellung, meine Selbstpräsentation und ein fachlicher Austausch. Eigene Rückfragen sowie Infos zum weiteren Zeitplan rundeten den positiven Ablauf ab.

The first stage was a phone interview. It was focused on behavioral aspects. Conflicts, strength, weaknesses. I was invited to interview via email, with no details provided about the process. After the initial interview, the stages included a case study, brain teasers, and a technical assessment. The case study focused on product ranking. It was challenging to grasp the scope and boundaries of the product they wanted to develop. My answers seemed off-mark, as the interviewers appeared fixated on a specific vision they didn’t clearly communicate. The brain teasers included a seesaw riddle and a volume sales puzzle. The technical interview was the most difficult. I met with their “lead,” who struggled to articulate questions clearly. At times, it felt like I had to read his mind. He responded with irritation when I sought clarification and came across as condescending, with notably poor communication skills. I eventually managed to answer all the questions. This was my personal experience. Others may have a different one—though, in theory, they shouldn’t.
