Question 1
Focused on specific examples of my contribution to prior organizational efforts
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Long interview/screening process- starting from screening HR interview, virtual job tryout where you answer a series of questions, then a case interview where you answer questions for a business case, then hiring manager interview, followed by two more behavioural interviews.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Manila, Manila) in Oct 2025
Interview
Interview has 5 stages - Tiring and redundant. 2 screenings and 2 initial interviews where all the same questions are asked. Final and 5th interview with director or VP. Are the notes of the initial interviewers and the hiring managers not sufficient or not reliable? After acing 4 interviews, and being asked for my availability for the final interview, I was suddenly dropped and told that they already hired someone. I was told that once they complete interviewing and assessing all candidates, we will be sent the results of our completed assessments. My interview did not happen - interview/hiring process not completed. Bad experience for me. I hope others do not encounter the same.
They told me I passed all interviews and I'm ready for the final interview only to be told they already chose someone after they asked for my schedule.
