I had two interviews. The first interview was with the recruiter and the head of the department. As you might expect, this interview focused on getting to know each other as well as checking basic technical knowledge.
The second interview was a use case presentation and it was with the head of the department and two other employees. You are provided with the use case a couple of days ahead of the interview in a well-documented description. In the interview, you present the solution of the use case and discuss your choices, tradeoffs made, and scaling.
Having done a handful of interviews, DocuWare’s process stands out in its professionalism. Both the recruiter and the technical staff made the interview as friendly as possible. It felt more like discussing with colleagues. For example, despite having technical issues at the beginning of the second interview, their friendliness and manners reduced my nervousness, which gave me confidence while presenting the use case.
Both interviews were held online. I had time to ask questions, which were thoroughly answered, and next steps were given at the end of each interview.
