ExxonMobil Controller interview questions

I was approached by an HR from Bengaluru, India for a position at ExxonMobil and scheduled a one-hour onsite interview in Singapore on Monday, 30 March 2026. The interview was conducted by two interviewers a Product Owner and a Code Owner. Overall, the interview went smoothly, but there were few technical questions; most questions were similar to those asked by HR beforehand, which suggested a possible misalignment between HR and the interviewers. I followed up with HR after two weeks and eventually received a rejection.
