I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE in Jun 2016
Interview
Interview process was quicker than most. Interview by recruiter, hiring manager (phone) and on-site all happened within 2 weeks. I was confident that I had all the requirements of the job (and some), particularly on industry knowledge. Interviewers (7 white men) at the onsite interview were all nice, talked more about their roles/job than asked me questions. I was not intimidated by anyone as I looked them all up on LinkedIn and nobody really had credentials that could make anyone nervous. The questions were easy, probably just looking for a good fit to their team. The interviewing/hiring team looks like an old-boy club, the typical pipeline of large US corporations, who's not use to seeing diversity in the leadership team, especially a well-credentialed, international experienced woman of Asian descent and that is understandable. Naturally, I did not get an offer but that is fine by me. It was still a positive experience overall.

Question 1
What is the greatest strength of a good leader? Tell me about a time when you failed, how did you handle it and what did you learn from it?
All of them asked "Why GE?". They seem to be obsessed with this question.
