I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Gainsight (Hyderābād) in Oct 2013
Interview
1. I got a call from an agency
2. There was a online coding test. The problem contains few test cases which your code needs to satisfy. It is nearly impossible to solve within 1 hour or whatever limited time they had given, but if you are a quick thinker and swift coder you can take down most of the test cases. I solved 3 out of 5 as far as I can remember.
2. Telephonic interview was scheduled after few days, as I was an outstation candidate and they wanted to make sure before they call on board for direct interviews
3. Got relevant and good questions from DS/Algo/Java/Design Patterns and problem solving.
4. Got a call from company's HR this time after a day of the telephonic for flying down to have face to face rounds. Got everything reimbursed the day of the interview with a luxury hotel for free food and accommodation.
5. 5 rounds logically. With first one being managerial, followed by 3 technical with a HR discussion at the end. With a self introduction to interviewer panel.
6. Questions were from coding/ core Java (stressed to minute details)/ problem solving/ explaining work experience etc.
7. Got a nod 3 days after and happily joined with a good hike.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gainsight (Hyderābād) in Aug 2017
Interview
Team was proactive during first phase of interview. After first round, i had to remind HRs many times for feedback. Second round happened was totally database based even tough i applied for java developer. I was rejected and accepted the result/feedback and made some improvement.
After 2-3 months, they came up with few new openings. I applied and tried to contact them but now they are not replying. HR team should look into this when someone is taking interest in your company.
