I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at General Atomics
Interview
30 minute video call (but we extended to 45 b/c I had lots of questions). All questions posed to me were behavioral. It was clear that there wasn’t a right or wrong answer, just an understanding of how I think.

Tell me about a time that you had to work with a difficult colleague but still had to get the job done.
Very simple one round interview, asked about experiences and projects. Overall know resume and technical projects you worked on especially if they relate to the role you’re applying for. Had 3 interviews with them for different engineering roles in CA and all had similar structure, withdrew after accepting different offer
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Process included just one panel interview with three staff engineers, about two weeks wait before hearing back from the hiring manager that I was declined. From what I understand there was no second round of interviews for internships.
