I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Humana (Arlington, VA) in Oct 2025
Interview
An AI-generated screening interview from the human resources office came to me via email; however, on the day of my interview, no one joined the call. I prepared a great deal for the interview, so I was highly disappointed. After reaching out to HR and the HR POC I was originally supposed to meet with, I finally secured an interview time, participated in a screening, and was invited to participate in one more discussion. In the end, I wasn't chosen to go beyond that, which is fine. Falling between the cracks so early in the process doesn't give you a very good impression of the company. I tried to stay positive, but not sure I would be interested in interviewing with them again.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Humana (Detroit, MI) in Sep 2025
Interview
Overall, a positive experience. They were communicative from the beginning and notified me 3 weeks following the first round interview that they decided to purse another candidate. Although I had high hopes, I'm glad that they respected my time and provided closure on how they were moving forward.
Upon submitting my application, they reached out about responding to 7 pre-text based interview questions. Following that, the recruiter reached out to conduct an initial screening, and then I completed a first round interview. I was initially notified that there would be a second round, but I didn't advance to that.

Describe a time you used data to influence leadership to make a decision
Basic HR questions with the STAR approach where they expect a Situation, Task, Action, and Result. Felt very detached, like they were running thru the motions, and had a candidate in mind already.
