After applying, an online assessment is given. After talking with HR, I received a Telephone Interview invitation. The interviewer is really nice. Firstly some coding problems in SQL, then some business case problems
Got a coding and descriptive assessment after applying, which consisted of SQL questions and Business Problem case study using hypothesis testing. Got an HR phone screen scheduled for 15 mins, got a confirmation for next round the same day. The technical phone screen was scheduled for 45 mins and was asked on Expertise and background, SQL coding session and business problem discussion.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Poshmark
Interview
Was requested to complete a SQL HackerEarth test about a month after I first applied online. It was straightforward, no tricky questions. A few weeks later (after the holidays) spoke to a recruiter who described the company and role and set up a technical phone interview. The technical interview included a case study and a live coderpad SQL session. The SQL was harder than the HackerEarth test but still reasonable and on the simpler side. Note: the data tables were not actually loaded into the coderpad, so you couldn't debug your code. But since the queries were not complex, you can catch errors without running your code. The case study involved designing a test for a new feature and describing how you would evaluate the results. This was my first time doing a case study and a live coding session, so I did not do well. Got feedback within a few days that I did not get the role.
