Rape & Sexual Violence Project interview questions

I receieved a phone call asking if I could interview at the head office in Birmingham for the following Monday. I live in London and it ia advertised in London so I explained this was too last minute. It was then organised for teams. I asked for clarification the offices being in Brum as I was in London, in which the employer had seen and reassured me amount of time in the office could be negotiated. I was sent 3 legnthly tasks to complete and spent all day working on these. I reread the work package and asked for clarification on the work expectations and when travel was expected if this would be paid for, also clarifying London weighting. I got told this was a mistake and the position is in Birmingham with 2-3 days in the office expected, no travel fees paid and no London allowance. Complete waste of time and really disappointed with the lack of transparency. Also if this was a mistake, why wouldn't you question the candidate applying from London before you offered an interview... I also noticed this post was advertised 6 months ago so bit of a red flag.
