I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SLB (Houston, TX) in Nov 2016
Interview
Initial interviews were very exciting but a little vague on some details of the position, but discussion with HR was discouraging and led me to believe that the company culture was not a good fit for me

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SLB
Interview
Pathetic experience. Was set up for a 30 min chat with HR & HM and asked what role I am being considered for. HM mentioned about 2 roles and both were good fit. Very basic question during 30 min conv and they called me onsite. I asked for interview logistics/reimbursement and HR never responded. Second email I was transparent about my most recent total comp and asked if this is something SLB can match up. HR responded about their process without saying Yes vs No. Within couple of weeks without my onsite, I was given an offer letter which was 50% of my current TC. When enquired if they'd ever can meet my expectation, I got a plain email that they cannot do anything better. I was going to reject via system but before I could do it, they rejected me.
SLB talent team should take a deep look into HR recruiters from Columbia/Venezuela as these individuals do not know a clue about interviewing technique let alone candidate experience. While I admired the company within ONG sector, never in my lifetime id ever want to work for SLB after this experience.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SLB in Sep 2018
