Technically speaking, the interview wasn't too hard - there was a system design round with focus on data matching from various systems (inspired by interviewer's own work at the time) and Python/SQL round with simple (Leetcode-easy) questions. Several leadership rounds - with the hiring manager, and 2 XFN. It was relatively easy technically, but the process felt a bit disorganized.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Snowflake (Chicago, IL) in May 2024
Interview
3 rounds: 2 technical, 1 professional fit interview. The first interview involved theoretical machine learning questions around supervised algorithms. The second one was particularly focused on my research background, which included stochastic processes and time-series modeling. The final round was a call with the hiring manager, which was largely informal.
4 rounds of behavioral and situational questions. Interviewed with 3 of the Senior Director’s direct reports and then the Sr Director himself. Everyone was kind and collaborative during the interview process
