A lot has changed since Post was founded in 1890. Then, our classrooms were filled with typewriters. Today, our classrooms are filled with laptop computers and smartphones, and reach far beyond our traditional campus—to airplane seats and kitchen tables, living room sofas and home offices.

Our ability to adapt and change is driven by one thing: our students. That’s why, when students wanted more flexible learning options, we became a pioneer in online and hybrid education. Today, we offer high quality education and exceptional student support services, no matter how you earn your degree. You can live and learn on our traditional New England campus and experience our dynamic culture and tight-knit community. You can also learn completely online, or in an evening and weekend format. However you choose to learn, you’ll have guidance every step of the way.

When it became clear that in order to compete in today’s world students needed to step out of the text and into the real world, we gathered together a group of scholar-practitioners with advanced degrees and years of real-world experience, so our students learn from true experts in their fields. We also expanded our Career Services office, and even added a career and self-awareness program to help our undergraduate students learn more about themselves and the careers available to them. When our traditional college students demanded an even richer on-campus experience, we added new student activities and athletic programs, renovated our residence halls, and created an even more welcoming home away from home in the hills of Waterbury, Connecticut.
