Pros

Company's picnics and some of the things that management does to bring employees together. Other than that there are no pros here.

Cons

Company treats you like you are a work horse. There is no work life balance. No incentive and toxic environment. Do not expect to get a praise for the work well done, do expect to get blamed for everything you do. People around you do not care if you are there or left, it doesn't matter to them, it's just business to them. Middle management is "CHEAP", instead of hiring more they allocate more work to the existing staff. If you want to be miserable every day get a job here.

Pros

You get to work in high stakes projects with large scopes. The pace is slower than startups, leading to better work life balance. You get access to really talented colleagues and seniors who you can learn a lot from as a beginner. Culture is very supportive and friendly. People are cooperative. You will make good friends here. They have good benefits including tuition, 401K match, stock options. They had pension until recently but have done away with it.

Cons

You are a small cog in a large machine, so it is easy to go unnoticed. It seems like career moves on a fixed timeline for most people, so working too hard doesn't necessarily reward you with a promotion, even on high stakes projects. Contractors are NOT easily converted to full time and it takes most people 3+ years to convert. They will not sponsor H1B for first time, but if you already have one, they may file for transfer, this turns away new international grads. Pay is lower than other med dev companies. Each role has defined pay levels and they will try to sell you the lowest one.
