Under paid and no opportunities internally - Anonymous employee DAZN Employee Review

So far, joining this organization feels like the wrong decision. Although I had clearly communicated my expectation for fair, industry-aligned compensation, the offered pay is below market standards. At the time, I accepted the role due to necessity, but I had reiterated my expectations regarding a fair pay grade during the joining process. Additionally, there appears to be limited scope for internal mobility. I expressed interest in transitioning to a Business Analyst role, given my domain knowledge and relevant exposure, but my request was declined on the grounds of insufficient experience. This raises concerns about the purpose and accessibility of internal job postings if employees with foundational knowledge and demonstrated interest are not given opportunities to grow within the organization. The purpose of applying for Business Analyst role is to get some experience. They have mentality to not have people from a specific department to any other department.
