Pros

Experience firs hand INFLUENCE PEDDLING. Learn how it works and how it is done.

Cons

In FORESCOUT, advancement appears to hinge not on merit or expertise, but rather on personal connections. One cannot help but be astonished by the blatant favouritism within the accounting department, where influence seems to outweigh competence. Those who have genuinely contributed to streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency are rarely, if ever, asked about their professional aspirations. Meanwhile, a newcomer, whose principal qualification seems to be a close friendship with the Chief Accounting Officer—was swiftly elevated to a prominent role after merely a year of tenure. It is particularly disheartening to observe that some of those promoted struggle with the most basic professional standards, such as correctly expressing numerical amounts in English. FORESCOUT, undeterred by such contradictions, plans to distribute a perfunctory survey in October, posing the question: “Do you feel the company cares about you?” The irony is palpable. For those in INDIA fortunate enough to enjoy personal rapport with their superiors, the answer may well be yes. For the rest, the question feels more like a provocation than a genuine inquiry.
