Pros

I've been with Genpact for 10+ years as part of the sales team. The same characteristics that brought me to Genpact are the same characteristics that I observe every day. The front end team has a great deal of flexibility and authority to work with clients and our delivery teams to shape solutions, both operationally and commercially. The organization can move with great speed, which I hear from clients is a differentiator compared to others in our industry. Our colleagues are talented and work here because they want to make a difference for our clients. I'm a big fan of Genpact as an employee

Cons

As we have a global delivery model, some new employees take longer than others to get accustomed to working with colleagues from all over the globe. Once you become familiar with working with the diverse team and the work hours to accommodate various time zones, it becomes a normal day in the life, so to speak.

Pros

Strong learning opportunities and client exposure – Great for building enterprise sales skills through real interactions with major clients and diverse processes. Supportive training and resources – Solid onboarding, tools, and upskilling programs that help early-career sales professionals grow quickly. Global brand and team collaboration – Working for a recognized company with decent team support and some flexibility in approach.

Cons

High-pressure quotas and inconsistent targets – Aggressive sales goals can feel tough to hit consistently, with variable pipeline support. Bureaucracy and disorganized management – Processes are often slow or unclear, and management support varies by team/account. Compensation not always matching effort – Base pay is fair for starters, but commissions/incentives can fall short relative to the workload and results required.
