Pros
Good money, tax free. If you are teaching something fun that you genuinely love, the students are great. Have enough in savings that you aren't afraid of the constant threats of being fired, do exactly your job and not more, streamline your work as much as possible, don't expect to cover as much as you might have before, but focus on improvement of your students and you can find joy in this position.
Cons
High turnover, sometimes a good boss, sometimes a complete nightmare. Five classes a semester and one in the summer, plus meetings means you won't find time for lunch unless you make yourself a priority and learn to let go of what you can't do or finish. 40 hour minimum per week, clock-in system with fingerprint, lose money if you are a minute short= feel like a prisoner. Serious ineptitude surrounds, just remember that what's above your paygrade is no your problem, no matter how much your boss might try to push the work on you. Never make a scene or outright refuse, just float along.
