Pros
Professionals such as engineers, program managers, sales, etc... were all, well, professional. Most everyone treats each other with respect and there are a lot of smart and experienced people to learn from. Regarding daily work, I felt that everything was really interesting and not boring at all. I can't speak to the manufacturing side of things on the shop floor. The pay was good for my position and the benefits were pretty good. The company also has social events and other activities that boost moral and make you feel like you are part of a great team. Bellingham is beautiful and Seattle or Vancouver is close enough to visit for a getaway. While I was laid off from the company, I miss working there.
Cons
Employment can be cyclical, depending on the market, so layoffs are a possibility. That said, those who have worked there for decades have told me that the company almost always bounces back. Bellingham is expensive for housing costs.
