Pros

Most colleagues are good, but nobody has seen each other since 2020.

Cons

New management has consistently driven this company into the ground. It can't sell elearning in a world where everyone is transitioned to working from home. New upper management has shifted to a focus on micromanaging and metrics, which has incentivized everyone not to go above and beyond, to work slowly to show utilization, and to avoid the innovation and risk taking that once delivered value to clients. The company would be better off cleaning house in upper management and starting over.

Pros

While working there, I got lucky and had a pretty chill manager. However, that’s hit or miss.

Cons

As soon as a client/project ends, they string you along for a couple months stating they’ll place you with another client or project. And then they lay you off with zero severance and cut off your benefits (medical insurance) immediately. It doesn’t matter if you have consistent 100% CSAT score or a continuous 97%+ review scores. Take the job., but do the bare minimum. There’s zero incentive to do more. And do NOT believe senior management when they say they “care,” or that they’re “doing everything possible to keep you.” They’re not. Zero development. They’ll say they want to get you the tools to develop yourself and career, but again, they’re lying to keep you on the hook. Also, very telling for an Indian company to only keep the straight, white males after a layoff.
