When my contract was not renewed, my agency let me know one day before the contract ended and not a single person at Samsung said a word about it. Not even the courtesy of a goodbye after nearly 2 years, let alone a thanks or good luck. -Location: Englewood Cliffs is a small enclave of Korean companies including Hyundai and LG, which are less than a mile away. Commuting is a pain with very limited options from Manhattan, most of which include a 15 minute walk from a NJ Transit bus stop. The company also arranges a charter bus service, but you pay out of pocket for this and it is double the price of NJ Transit. Neighboring non-Korean companies provide free shuttles to & from the city. -RTW: Beginning in April 5 days a week in the office is mandated for everyone.
