Pros

Good Product. Worked with some very bright, capable Business Analysts. Really enjoyed working with customers and many of the Zeomega staff.

Cons

Inept Technical and product development management-Software is not architected to support customizations for customers but the management is too inexperienced to architect it correctly or to manage software releases and product development efficiently. As a result, upgrades for customers take months because the developers have to go back and fix all the custom functions they have broken while developing the standard software releases. They charge the customers for an "analysis" period when it is really a charge for fixing everything they broke in the software. Bottom line =-they break their own product, then they charge the customer for the time it takes to fix it . Nepotism abounds. Non Indian employees are discriminated against. Indian mgmt is unable to adapt to management norms of the U.S. In the US, a competent executive would never tell an employee it is not "their place" to have an opinion, especially given the company's history of firing women without cause and exclusionary hiring practices. Experienced employees are micromanaged and belittled. Honest communication upward does not (can not) exist. Arrogance based on artificial executive position and hierarchy rule the day. Inept senior managers will use their employees as scapegoats when the inevitable problems arise with customers. The CEO has no sense of decorum and doesn't possess the ability to do basic filtering in his communications. He sends out company wide emails with inaccurate, presumptive information without thinking. He cares more about "riding" the wave of customers for the money than about whether the product will actually help improve lives through coordinated care management. Stay away from this company-They have a lot to learn.

Pros

Nothing really I can think of except the bonus which was good ( was because now it is also not there)

Cons

Most of the good reveiws are fake, posted on the half of CEO to bring better rating on glassdoor. There is no work balance or work ethics. Company run by CEO and his useless relatives and VP's who are not capable of any sensible thinking. There is no work and personal life balance. Nor any work ethics. Your growth depends on the relation you will maintain with VP's, CEO and his relatives and not by your hard work or work ethics. Employees who are sticking here are because of not getting other opportunities and most of them not capable f getting any other opportunities. No body understand or knows work ethics. Employees will be given rosy designations (check LinkedIn everyone are associate directors, God knows why 200 strength company need 30+ associate directors). Unhappy clients leading to no new clients from past 2 years. Only reason employees sticking here are because of H1 or b1 trips to U.S. And this also stopping as company not doing good or new clients. Fickle minded management has ensured there is no process or any streamlined development activities or growth to real hard workers. Most of the good brains have left organizations without able to withstand the madness

CEO has an overinflated ego and won't get out of his own way.

Pros

New employee orientation is about the best thing about the company and it quickly goes down hill from there, as you come to realize the ugly truth. The best thing about working at ZeOmega is knowing that you won't have to work there forever. And I guess the PTO, because you'll need the time off to get away from the insanity.

Cons

There are so many cons for working for this company that it is difficult to know where to begin, so I'll start with the CEO. The CEO is absolutely full of himself and runs the company like a dictatorship, unfortunately he is an incompetent dictator, who has been known to yell at clients and hang up on them during conference calls. Add that to his incredible paranoia and you have a recipe for disaster. If he treats his clients badly, he treats his employees worse. He thinks nothing about berating, belittling and demeaning employees in public and unfortunately this management style is rampant throughout the organization. And because he can't get out of the weeds, no employee is safe from his tirades. Managers have no idea how to manage people and there is a large amount of employee turnover, as competent people run for the hills or are chased off. Incompetent people are placed in roles because they are friends or family of the CEO. CEO doesn't trust his employees and employees are fearful for their jobs. The benefits are abysmal and very expensive. The company using a bad software system to track everything that is done in the company, so employees waste hours of their time recording what they've done, how they've done it, and where they are in a project. Hours of needless unproductive time are spent on this software. Speaking of time, employees are expected to be "on" at all hours and if they are not "on" at all times, they are seen as disloyal and lazy, so real work-life balance doesn't exist. Employees are viewed as disposable commodities and not like they are the company's most valuable resources. When that many people leave an organization, you would think someone would think long and hard about what the problem is, but they don't. There is no real vision, mission or company values and that is readily apparent. My advice to anyone considering working for this company is to just move along, I wouldn't wish this organization on my worst enemy. Given how the CEO treats his clients and employees I would be surprised if this company survives.
