Good for relocation

Pros

Great coworkers, the company sponsors work visa and offer a relocation loan. They schedule several "cultural events", so if your sanity can be bought by company events and free food, this is your place.

Cons

- no work council at a company that hires expats, leaves workers vulnerable to unlawful dismissals. As soon as you join, get legal insurance. It will protect you! - Compensation are below market for experienced workers. - For some people, trivago has been their only work experience. While it is heavily promoted that you can have a career here, it is usually people who joined as juniors who were promoted but lacked the knowledge (but were good with company politics.) - challenging is only welcomed from top-down, and this permeates from senior leadership to low level team leads. - reorgs every six months, colleagues suddenly disappearing. - bro culture - the ceo recently published on LinkedIn an initiative to drive the employee count down from 700+ to 600.
