Pros

Market pay, good benefits, daily breakfast and lunch with great variety.

Cons

The admin teams in the engineering and products orgs have high attrition rates, regular burnout and lack of trust in the admin leadership. The admin leads have created a lot of tension m for years and admins are scared to upset them because of how much influence they have in admins performance reviews. The admin leaders for the product and engineering admins (they don’t manage admins, they manage the program) have been reported to HR and investigated, but nothing happens and they continue to run the admin program poorly. Proceed carefully if you are thinking about an executive assistant or executive operations with them . Not sure how admins in other orgs at Snowflake are doing but they might be doing better because they are not part of admin programs.

Pros

I love working here! The culture is great. I feel I have a lot of autonomy and freedom to contribute new ideas and processes to help things run more smoothly. I feel the impact I make it tangible and I find my job to be quite fulfilling. It's a great place to work.

Cons

In the dawn of the AI revolution, it certainly is overwhelming to work for an AI company. The expectations around AI are constantly shifting and it can be hard to keep up. In general, keeping up to date with the product and the technology is the most difficult part. You definitely have to put in the work. Due to the location constraints, there are also limited opportunities to promote past middle management or commercial sales unless you're willing to move to a bigger hub city.
