Pros
Only thing is that you might get a few good people interacting with you in other teams.
Cons
Sharing this review to give a realistic perspective to potential candidates. I was laid off citing “underperformance,” but there was no structured, fact-based feedback or documented review process to support it. Expectations from junior employees were often at the level of 8–10+ years of experience, despite the product itself taking significant time to learn even for senior members. Work culture is heavily influenced by internal politics and favoritism. A new scam is going on in this company that they fire people and instead hire fresher(lower salary) or interns to work like donkeys and even extern their term before confirmation. Many people are at the edge and there is a lot of micro management over here even though you deliver your work people will keep an eye on you 24/7 . A little mistake from a junior level employee is also taken as an escalation if they want. Asking for reviews or improvement is also taken in a negative way saying you are not perfect and even though you get improved and give your best if they have thought of firing you they can do that with silly excuses. Before firing even a proper feed back from my counter teams was not taken. (Nobody had an issue with the performance). Its just they are heavily into cost cutting they want to hire people at a salary way below market standards to thrive in the industry. One of the biggest red flags is that even senior and long-tenured employees have started leaving. Many of them seem to be moving out due to lack of recognition, unstable work culture, limited growth, and increasing internal politics. I would strongly advise candidates to evaluate carefully before joining. If stability, transparency, fair feedback, and mental peace are priorities for you, consider all options before making a decision.
